1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Name. During onboarding, you may enter your first name. This name is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
• Journal entries ("moments"). The text you write in the App is stored locally on your device using an on-device database. Your moments are never uploaded to our servers.
• Notification preferences. Your reminder time and notification settings are stored locally on your device.

Information Collected Automatically

• Subscription and purchase information. When you start a free trial or subscribe, your purchase is processed through the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, to verify and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase history, subscription status, and device platform information. RevenueCat does not receive your name, journal entries, or any personally identifying information entered in the App. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Analytics and usage data. We use PostHog, a third-party product analytics platform, to understand how users interact with the App so we can improve it. PostHog collects anonymous event data, including which screens are viewed and which in-app actions are taken. The specific events we track include: onboarding steps viewed, moments saved (without the content of your writing), reminder settings enabled, paywall screens shown, subscription conversions, and search feature usage. PostHog does not receive the text content of your journal entries, your name, or any other personally identifying information entered in the App. PostHog may collect an anonymous user identifier, device type, operating system version, app version, and your IP address (which may be used to derive approximate country-level location). 2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide and operate the App's core journaling functionality
• Send you local push notifications (daily reminders and trial-ending reminders) that you configure on your device
• Verify your subscription status and provide access to features included in your subscription
• Analyze anonymous usage patterns to improve the App's onboarding experience, paywall, and features

3. Data Storage and Security

Your journal data stays on your device. Moments and settings are stored in a local SQLite database on your iPhone and are never transmitted to our servers.

iCloud Backup. If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone, your device backup may include the App's local database as part of Apple's standard device backup process. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy). You can control iCloud Backup in your iPhone Settings.

We do not operate any servers that store your journal content or personal profile information.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services:

We do not use third-party advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. RevenueCat receives anonymous subscription-related data as described above.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal process.
• Business transfers. If the App is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.

6. Push Notifications

The App may request permission to send you local push notifications, including daily reminders to capture your moment and a one-time reminder before your free trial ends. All notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not use remote push notification infrastructure. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

• Delete your data. You can delete individual journal entries within the App. Deleting the App from your iPhone removes the local database entirely.
• Notifications. You can enable or disable notifications in the App's Settings screen or in your iPhone Settings at any time.
• Subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings or at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal data. Because we do not store your journal data on our servers, we are not able to fulfill data portability or deletion requests for data that exists solely on your device or in your iCloud Backup. 9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
